ENIMOL was born on the 24th of August in 1982 and was raised in a little village near the Alps in the farthest north of Italy. She spent her childhood surrounded by mountains, woods, ibexes and apple trees until her high school graduation in classics. She really loved ancient greek and latin culture but not as much as drawing; she also used to think that all the inanimate things could become alive just by putting onto them two little handmade paper eyes..
For those two reasons at the age of 19 she moved to Bologna to study Painting at the University of Fine Arts. There she found a cultural environment addicted to underground illustration, strip cartoon and animation, and as a consequence she did her thesis about the origins of animated cartoon.
Once received her bachelor of Fine Arts she went to Turin to enroll in the prestigious and highly selective course of animation at Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, the national school of cinema. Her graduation short film Arithmetique based on the Opera L'enfant et les sortileges by Ravel was selected and awarded in a lot of international animation festivals in 2010 and 2011.
She lived in Italy for 29 years, the last two working in animation productions, mostly in preproduction stage and dealing with animation workshop for children.
She moved to London in 2012, where she works as freelance artist in animation and illustration.
She spends nearly all of her time drawing. When she's not drawing she loves gardening, cycling, swimming, watching old films, cooking and eating with her friends.
